The Annual Campaign provides the essential, unrestricted resources that allow Federation to respond where needs are greatest. Unlike designated gifts, Annual Campaign dollars give us the flexibility to address urgent challenges, sustain critical services and invest strategically in the future.
Protecting Our
People
There is no priority greater than the safety of our Jewish community. Rising antisemitism — online, on campus, and in our neighborhoods— demands vigilance and resolve.
Federation is leading efforts to:
• Strengthen our community-wide Jewish security program.
• Provide training, technology, and response systems to keep every Jewish institution safe.
• Advocate for resources to combat antisemitism and equip our community to respond to potential threats.
• Deepen partnerships with law. enforcement.

Jewish Detroit has always cared for its most vulnerable — and today, the needs are growing:

Since the horrific attacks of October 7 and the war that continues today, the people of Israel face immense trauma, loss, and disruption Federation has been there every step of the way, delivering:
• Emergency relief for families displaced and communities devastated.
• Trauma care and support for survivors.
• Resources for Israel’s most vulnerable, including children, seniors, and new immigrants.
• People to people relationships with our partnership region in the Central Galilee.
• Support for reservists and their families.
At the same time, we care for vulnerable Jewish populations around the globe, ensuring that wherever Jews live, they are never alone.
