The purpose of the Hermelin-Davidson Center is to help enhance and enrich congregations across the Metropolitan Detroit Jewish community, and awards grants to support formal and informal education, personnel recruitment, professional development, total congregation enhancement and encouragement of new congregation initiatives. Most grants are between $5,000 and $25,000.
Eligible organizations: Synagogues and other agencies working in direct partnership with synagogues.Â
Cycle: One annual cycle, late winter RFP and early spring award notification.
