Hillels provide opportunities for Jewish students to explore and celebrate their Jewish identity. The Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit supports the partnership with the following Hillel Foundations, serving 16 campuses in Michigan.

Jewish day schools in Metro Detroit provide integrated secular and Judaic education from early childhood through high school. Their mission is to cultivate academic excellence alongside deep Jewish literacy and identity.

Jewish congregations in the Detroit area represent a rich diversity of traditions. These congregations serve as spiritual, educational, and cultural centers, offering worship services, community programs, youth activities, and holiday celebrations. They reflect the deep historical roots of Jewish life in the region.

Supplementary schools offer Jewish children who attend secular or public schools an opportunity to connect with their heritage through additional education in holidays, life-cycle rituals, Hebrew language, texts, and traditions.
