Since 2002, more than 2,200 Israeli campers and 500 host families have shared unforgettable summers through the Israeli Camper Program—a partnership between Federation, Tamarack Camps and Michigan’s Partnership2Gether region. This cultural exchange strengthens Jewish identity and builds lasting Israeli–American friendships.
For many campers, it’s their first time traveling outside Israel and being away from their parents. A warm, welcoming host family plays a vital role in making their Michigan experience meaningful.
Host family applications for the summer of 2026 are now being accepted.Â
