Funds
A Donor Advised Fund is a flexible charitable giving tool to help you and your family meet your charitable goals. It functions like a charitable checking account, allowing you to add funds and make distributions at your convenience. With a minimum gift of $5,000 to establish a fund, you can simplify your giving, receive immediate tax benefits and grow your charitable impact at your own pace. Our team will guide you through setup, strategy and ongoing grantmaking support.

Foundation
A Supporting Foundation at the Jewish Federation of Detroit offers a distinctive way to engage your family in philanthropy through a separately incorporated nonprofit entity with its own identity and governance structure. With a current or future gift of $1 million in cash, securities or other qualified assets, you can establish a Supporting Foundation that benefits from public charity status through its affiliation with the Federation. This structure also provides access to professional investment management and the philanthropic expertise of the Federation, allowing you to create a customized and enduring framework for family giving.

Centennial Campaign
An endowment is a timeless way to ensure lasting impact. Through our Centennial Campaign, a gift of $100,000 or more establishes a named endowment that will exist in perpetuity, providing ongoing, sustainable funding for our Jewish community aligned with your priorities and values. Your name, or one you choose to honor, will be permanently associated with strengthening Jewish life in Detroit for generations to come. Endowments may be established during your lifetime or through a testamentary gift.
